I’ve had some people ask for prints recently so I set up a society6 page here!
If there’s anything you’d like in particular let me know :)
The kind of interactions you’ll see in Really Nice Poltergeist!
Heres some concepts / backgrounds you’ll see in our announcement trailer, coming soon! If you look closely, you’ll see we often remove details between the original sketch and the final painting.
The first post of many!
As the description says, we’re Bill and Jason and we’re in the very early stages of concepting a fun game idea. It’s a puzzle-based interactive story kinda game. You play as a little ghost who can interact with the world and affect the lives of the characters he haunts. The order you do things and the way in which the little residents react dictates the eventual outcome. You mostly wanna make everyone happy, but because of the branching story lines, there are a huge number of possibilities!
We want to make it beautiful with tons of funny animation. We’re looking forward to sharing the development as as we go along :)
Woo, this should be fun :)
The other day i showed some environment designs I did for the kids show, Bottersnikes & Gumbles, for Mighty Nice. Today I’m posting some of the backgrounds I did for the 2D intro!
It was a great little project, directed by Alex Grigg. I worked with Alex to define the look of the intro, eventually turning my concepts into more useful backgrounds.

woah woah! I got to add colour to Jason Pamment’s masterful linework. We had the idea of swapping paintings after we finished the linework phase and rendering it in our own style. It was a tonne of fun a good exercise in sharing ideas and goofing off. I wanna do another one already.
Wooo! Super artists friends forevs <3
Artist/cool guy extraordinaire Jarrod Prince and I decided to take each others cleaned-up design & linework through to a coloured illustration. It was a lot of fun working with someone else’s idea!
